E-League

E-League

What is E-League?

BIEA Early Years League (E-League) is an international alliance dedicated for overseas education practitioners and organisations who wish to provide the best British early years education (0-5 years old) and adopt the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to enable children and parents to experience high quality education.

What does E-League offer?

E-League’s essence is based on the British EYFS concept, which provides five core supports for the development of its members.

1. Comprehensive bilingual EYFS support materials

BIEA provides members with a set of bilingual Early Years Foundation Stage Framework support materials which include practice guidance manuals covering a range of topics, the EYFS statutory framework and examples of best practice. The materials are translated to the national language of the host country the member is operating in and enables the effective delivery of the EYFS in an international context.

2. Authentic EYFS education training

BIEA is the leading CPD certification body in the UK with qualifications in providing overseas international early years education vocational training. It has an exclusive teaching and training base in the UK, providing a series of trainings for early years education practitioners worldwide and guarantees that they are taught by first-tier teachers and leaders of education.

3. British experts to visit the nurseries to provide guidance

E-League consults with and employs only the best international EYFS experts to provide members with on-going tailored support to enable them to effectively run a nursery overseas. BIEA experts quality review the impact of teaching and learning on children’s outcomes and provide suggestions and guidance to ensure the nursery is delivering the EYFS to high standards.

4. A convenient E-marketplace

To support members find products and resources while teaching overseas, BIEA has gathered the resources of well-known educational companies worldwide. The E-marketplace provides member access to a range of discounts and offers from companies who provide resources to support the implementation of the EYFS.

5. Authoritative E-League Quality (ELQ) accreditation

Schools and nurseries delivering the EYFS curriculum overseas can work towards an internationally recognised accreditation from BIEA. The accreditation is a quality Kitemark endorsement that the organisation is delivering the EYFS to British Education Standards. The ELQ Standards Framework has been developed through consultation within organisations delivering the EYFS in an international context and accredits against Four Core Principles: Education Programme, Inclusion, Organisation and Children’s Well-Being. With the BIEA’s ELQ Accreditation, nurseries and schools can reassure parents and instil confidence to parents that they have made the right choice and that their young child will experience the best possible British education.

What problems can E-League solve?

Academic issues – Guided by UK’s Top Early Years Education Experts

Teacher training issues – Solved by joining the EYFS Training Courses

Practical problems in running a nursery – Provide demonstration and guidance in operating a nursery or school overseas

Teaching support issues – Access to the most comprehensive E-member marketplace

Overseas teachers in the UK

Overseas teachers in the UK

The UK has a reputation for excellence in education, and it has always been an attractive place for overseas teachers. Today, with the rising importance of Mandarin Chinese as a skill to have in the global economy, opportunities for Chinese teachers have grown significantly in recent years with a high demand for Mandarin teachers to work in UK schools. Our close links with teaching organisations within China can find top-tier individuals to work in the UK.

There are also opportunities for Chinese teachers to immerse themselves in the UK education sector and to familiarise themselves with British best practice before returning to China.
As the UK has a severe shortage of science teachers, oversea teachers with the right qualification and experience are in high demand.

Preparing to teach in China

Preparing to teach in China

Teaching in China is a fantastic opportunity available to qualified teachers, whether as part of a personal change or as an opening of an overseas campus. However, it can sometimes be a challenge to adjust to a new environment and culture very different from that of the UK. This BIEA program aims to prepare teachers for that change, softening the transition to make settling into a new environment as easy as possible. With guidance for both the work environment and adjusting to everyday life in China, teachers will find themselves better prepared for the changes that life in China will bring.
