Become a BIEA STEM Ambassador today!

Do you want to travel the world, spreading the word about STEM for free? BIEA is looking for up to four brilliant STEM experts to take part in whipping up support for the 2019 International STEM Youth Innovation Competition.

Successful applicants will be sent on an all-expenses-paid trip to various locations around China to visit schools who are taking part in the 2019 competition. Your job will be to assess projects created by the students and to continue to boost their enthusiasm during the months leading up to the competition.

We are looking for knowledgeable, passionate and above all friendly people. You can be a teacher, work in industry or simply have a passion for STEM, we don’t mind. Don’t worry about getting lost in rural Hunan either, staff from our lovely China office will greet you and provide support for your visit alongside local volunteers from universities. You will have the chance to meet fellow STEM professionals at the schools you visit and explore part of that fascinating country.

Your work will help send teams from China to the final of the International STEM Youth Innovation Competition in the UK where they will compete against their UK peers as well as checking out the Big Bang Fair in Liverpool to meet thousands of their fellow students.

Applicants must be free to travel to China between the 15th and 31st of May 2019 and hold a valid British passport. If you or anyone you know is interested please send an email to pwhite@biea.org.uk or call +44 203 766 8048.
